Andrew van der Haar is a dedicated telecom expert, entrepreneur, and industry leader who has built a career on driving innovation and fostering connectivity that started in 1997. With a wealth of experience across multiple sectors, Andrew is passionate about sharing his knowledge and shaping the future of digital infrastructure.

Andrew’s entrepreneurial journey began with taking over the management of Datacenter Groningen in 2010, followed by the management of Datacenter Almere in 2018 and started NLdatastore an IAAS platform that enabled a dutch cloud. These roles cemented his reputation as a leader in data infrastructure. He also founded Atlantis Data in 2009, a company that advised businesses on leveraging technology for growth. After building it into a successful enterprise, he sold Atlantis Data in 2023 and stopped the activities in the Datacenter management, marking a key transition in his career.

In 2022, Andrew shifted his focus to his work with the Fiber Carrier Association and the Dutch Data Center Association, dedicating himself to sharing his expertise with the industry. His efforts culminated in October 2024, when he was elected chairman of the European Local Fiber Alliance, a testament to his leadership and commitment to advancing fiber connectivity across Europe.

Andrew’s innovative ventures include founding Sidefloat, a revolutionary floating device designed to improve fishing experiences, reflecting his ability to apply his skills to unique challenges. He also maintains a connection to sustainability through his involvement with Tuinderij de Spoolderberg, a sustainable farming project in Zwolle.

From his early entrepreneurial successes to his current roles in industry leadership, Andrew continues to champion collaboration, innovation, and connectivity to drive the digital economy forward.
